This event takes places at The Beachcomber, Cleethorpes on Saturday, 13 May 2017
Please note: Registration For Dancers Is Closed
Our Strictly themed cha-cha-charity fundraiser is back for 2017!
Couples are taking part in several weeks of rehearsals ready for the big finale, at The Beachcomber, Cleethorpes, on Saturday, May 13.
Once again, the venue has been donated to the hospice for the event and well-known dance tutors Keith and Judy Clifton - whose children Kevin and Joanne are professional dancers on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing – are donating their time to coach the couples.
Last year’s contest was the first time organiser Mick Enright had done anything like it. He said: "The reason I support the hospice is because it’s local and could be any of us who needs its care. It’s a magnificent place and I can’t speak highly enough of the team there."
Last year’s event raised a grand total of £15,357.41, which saw a sell-out crowd of about 400 people watch 12 couples dance and vote Ben Mortlock and Emily Crowder to victory.
Tickets for spectators are £25 each with allocated seating, on a first-come first-served basis, or £50 for VIP tickets.
For £50 per ticket, here's what you get...
General admission tickets cost £25, with allocated tiered seating on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 250 tickets on sale.
Both types of tickets are available from The Beachcomber only, in person or by phoning 01472 812666. It opens Monday-Saturday 9am-5.30pm and Sunday 9am-5pm.
