Hospice supporter Alan Nesbitt spent over 12 hours in the saddle yesterday (Saturday) to complete the Way of the Roses, from Morecambe to Bridlington.
If you enjoyed the weekend's sunshine, spare a thought for Alan Nesbitt, who cycled The Way of the Roses - from Morecambe to Bridlington - to raise funds for Andy's on Saturday.
What a feat!
Alan, who is a Forrester Boyd partner/director and from Louth, said: "It was just under 15 ½ hours total time, with a fraction over 12 hours in the saddle.
"The average speed for the 172-mile route was 14.1 mph (the .1 matters to me!). I left Morecambe at 6am and got to Bridlington as it was starting to get dark just before 9.30pm."
There's still time to sponsor Alan by clicking here.
