Pub regular Mark gave up alcohol for a month.

He's got a lot of bottle!

Mark Venderweele, a regular at The Honest Lawyer pub in Ladysmith Road, Grimsby, gave up drinking alcohol for a month to raise £1050.15 for the hospice.

They thought he wouldn't do it... but he did, and we are so pleased and grateful that Mark completed his challenge.

He presented the donation to Jane Whenham-White, head of income generation at the hospice, alongside landlord Lee Howell.

You can help keep our spirits high over the festive season by donating alcohol to us. We use wine and so on for raffle prizes throughout the year, and stocks always run low at Christmas.

If you can help, simply drop in your donation to reception here in Peaks Lane, 8am-8pm weekdays and 9am-5pm on weekends.

Thank you!
