... at a Valentine's Dinner held in The Hub at the hospice last night.

Fine wine, food and company saw The Hub filled with couples on the most romantic night of the year.

Last night, top chefs Steven Bennett and Paul Robinson gave their time and skills for free to raise more than £2,000 for the hospice.

They cooked a four-course meal for 25 couples, supported by students from the Grimsby Institute and staff from Oaklands Hall Hotel.

Vocalist Chloey Rose and pianist Matthew Jeffrey also gave their support for free by providing entertainment throughout the evening, and Cleethorpes Flower Club provided table centrepieces.

The hospice's events manager, ZaZa Warren, said: "Thank you so much to everyone who supported it. The atmosphere was lovely and the food looked delicious. It's a great success."
