St Andrew’s Hospice
St Andrew’s Hospice provides a home from home environment; there are no set visiting hours and pets are very welcome. Care is dependent on need and availability. We do not offer long-term residential care.
We offer overnight stays and respite, symptom control, rehabilitation and end of life care, as well as other services such as counselling, complementary therapies, lymphoedema clinics, physiotherapy and bereavement support.
As well as nursing and medical care, we offer practical advice, emotional support and a comprehensive wellbeing programme. Our Spiritual Care Lead is on hand for those who want religious or spiritual care, and our support extends to families and carers too.
Our Care
The following services are available free of charge at St Andrew’s Hospice to anyone over the age of 18 who has been diagnosed with a palliative or life-limiting condition.

Inpatient care
The adult inpatient unit at St Andrew’s Hospice is a welcoming, homely environment where patients can receive round-the-clock nursing care and compassion. We provide symptom control, respite, rehabilitation and end-of-life care for people over the age of 18, with a life-limiting illness.
Wellbeing services
Our Wellbeing Services help you to live well by being as in control of your condition as possible and, where appropriate, achieve the things that are important to you.
Lymphodoema
Our specialist Lymphoedema Service provides advice, support and treatment for patients who have secondary lymphoedema related to a cancer diagnosis or progressive life-limiting disease
Family support
We have a team of social workers, caseworkers, social welfare officers and our spiritual care lead will work closely with you to provide practical, emotional, financial and spiritual support.
Bereavement Support
The North East Lincolnshire Bereavement Support Service is delivered by St Andrew’s Hospice in partnership with CRUSE and the Care Plus Group, offering specialist care to anyone who has suffered a bereavement.
