Jamie’s work journey with St Andrew’s Hospice

“Working here doesn’t feel like working. I come in and do things I am genuinely passionate about.” – Jamie, Deputy Retail Manager

Jamie joined St Andrew’s Hospice as a Kickstarter in July 2021 where his role was Admin Support for the eBay Team. He was then offered a full-time role as a Deputy Retail Manager to which he started in January 2022. Jamie’s duties include handling the admin processes for the eBay team, listing items on the platform and collecting and distribution items to where they need to go to.

“I love working at St Andrew’s because no two days are the same. There is always different stuff coming in each day which makes it really interesting. For me personally it’s fun to see how much items are worth and learning for next time if prices need to be lower or higher, it really does make the job engaging. Although I’ve not been working here very long I know my team well and they’re really nice.”
