Jo and Ore win the judges' vote on this weekend's show.

Hospice ambassador Joanne Clifton and her celeb dance partner Ore Obuda have survived their first dance-off and made it through to week eight of Strictly Come Dancing.

The couple's Salsa saw them in the bottom two for the lowest public votes, against Laura Whitmore and professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.

To our relief, the judges unanimously voted to keep Jo and Ore in the competition.

Joanne was appointed the hospice's ambassador early last year. Throughout the series of Strictly, we will be monitoring her progress on Saturday and Sunday nights on our social media channels: and @helpstandrews on Twitter. We hope you can join us in supporting her... keeeep dancing!
