This year marks the 40th Anniversary of St Andrew’s Hospice, and in honour of this milestone for the charity, we are hoping to get 40 people to run the 10k route around town in support of the hospice!
Are you thinking about running the Grimsby 10k this year?
With more people joining the race each year, the event gets bigger and better and we are hoping that you want to be a part of it with us. This year is also set to be the greenest one yet, which race organisers are hoping to achieve by ditching goodie bags for race finishers, handing out half the amount of plastic bottles and using a paper-free race information pack.
St Andrew’s Hospice, along with six other charities, has been selected to be supported by the Ørsted 10k event. For every entry, a percentage is put into a fund that is shared between the event’s charity partners. It is more than just a road race, it raises thousands of pounds for charity and creates a wealth of volunteering opportunities. The 2018 10k helped to raise around £15,000 directly to the charities, plus lots more indirectly through sponsorship.

There are 5000 places up for grabs this year, but they are expected to be in high demand, so don’t miss out!
