Our Head of Communications and Marketing role is a job with variety, creativity and is full of wonderful experiences as well as enjoying the Hospice’s improved pay and terms and conditions which came into force on 1st April 2022.

The Head of Communications and Marketing is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the hospice, raising the profile of its work and telling the hospice’s story. The role is also the brand guardian and will develop and lead the implementation of communications and marketing activity linked to the strategic commitments, working with teams across the hospice and with supporters external to the hospice.  You will never be bored in this role as you transfer and develop your skills in a charity setting seeing the difference that you can make to our patients and families.

With line management duties of a small team of digital creatives and volunteers and as part of the hospice leadership team, the role is central to the delivery of a range of campaigns both relating to income generation and the wider activities of the hospice, creating impactful materials and media to support these as well as ensuring external and internal communications are compliant, efficient and effective.
