The Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the hospice, raising the profile of its work and telling the hospice’s story. The role is also the brand guardian and will develop and lead the implementation of communications and marketing activity linked to the strategic commitments, working with teams across the hospice to support their work and the hospice’s vision, values and mission as well as achieving the strategic plans.
With line management duties and part of the leadership of the hospice, the role is central to the delivery of a range of campaigns both relating to income generation and the wider activities of the hospice, creating impactful materials and media to support these as well as ensuring external and internal communications are compliant, efficient and effective.
As this role works within and external to the hospice, a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
