You will lead and manage the Hospice based Estates & Facilities and Hospitality Teams.
You should be a qualified experienced facilities or health and safety professional, who is enthusiastic and passionate about estates management and health and safety and in turn, an excellent communicator who can provide health and safety and facilities support and guidance to the both the Charity and our Retail Trading Company. You should be proactive in identifying areas that require support and promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.
You should be NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma qualified, or hold an equivalent health and safety recognised qualification and be able to interpret and communicate Health & Safety regulations.
As part of the role you will effectively be leading all estates and facilities management services, including line management of our site team, household and catering teams.
You will undertake detailed analysis of service provision as required and assist and develop strategies and plans to improve the service in a cost effective, efficient and timely manner. You should ideally have previous experience working in healthcare or clinical environment, with at least 3 years management experience in estates and facilities background.
Flexibility is essential as the working hours are full time, with additional on-call for any emergency situations should they arise, each of which could include evenings and weekends, therefore a full driving licence is as essential requirement of this role.
