Working with a fabulously friendly team in a role that gives you lots of flexibility in how and when you work, our Head of Fundraising role is a job with variety, creativity and is full of wonderful experiences. As part of the hospice’s leadership team this role is part of the development and CPD opportunities for higher level management roles within the hospice as well as enjoying the hospice’s improved pay and terms and conditions which came into force on 1st April 2022

The Head of Fundraising is responsible for overseeing the continued success of the key fundraising activities of the hospice including corporate and community fundraising, individual giving, legacies, the hospice’s lottery, gift aid and, events also working closely with the communications and digital areas of the hospice in promoting and harnessing new approaches to fundraising.

With line management of a small team of charity fundraisers and volunteers and as part of the hospice leadership team, the role reports in to the Deputy CEO as part of the overarching management of Income Generation at the hospice.

Although fundraising experience would be preferred, the role would also suit a professional from a range of backgrounds including business / management, operations, business development, sales, marketing and customer service; please see the job description for more information.
