37.50 hours per week over retail trading of 7 days
Within the Retail Team we have 21 retail outlets working together to raise funds to ensure that patients and their families have the best possible experience and receive the highest quality of care.
As an experienced Shop Manager, you will have a passion for retail sales ideally within the charity sector. You will play an integral role within the retail function, supporting the growth and excellent services we provide to our customers, donors and supporters. In addition you will have the flexibility to work to a fluid retail rota which will include days and weekends.
With over 400 volunteers across the Hospice who donate their time freely to the organisation you will have the adaptability to communicate and motivate your volunteer team, ensuring they are fully aware of the shop and organisational activities, whilst maintaining a positive team spirit in your store.
Therefore, we are seeking an individual with a proven track record in:
- Maximising retail sales against annual performance targets.
- Play a key role in generating care giving funds for the Hospice.
- Maintaining high levels of shop presentation through merchandising and imaginative window dressing.
- Providing excellent customer care through quality of service and development of staff and volunteers.
