The Christmas tree recycling scheme helps to raise vital funds for St Andrew's Hospice and the local community. We welcome a donation and in exchange we will collect your Christmas tree, take it away and recycle it for you. No hassle, no waste and no needles in your car!

Your donation will help St Andrew’s Hospice provide services including end-of-life care, respite, wellbeing support, bereavement counselling and lymphoedema treatment for adults, children and families living with life-limiting illness.
It costs more than £6million per year to deliver these services at no cost to our community. Of this, just 18% is provided by the Government. We rely on your generosity to fund the rest.
£50 could pay for a day out for an Andy's Children's Hospice patient
£30 could fund one hour of end-of-life care on our Adult Inpatient Unit
What you need to know about this year's collection
Our team of amazing volunteers will be collecting in your area on Saturday, 10th January 2026.
Registration closes on Sunday, 4th January 2026.
Remember to decant any decorations, take the tree out of the pot (if it has one) or remove the base. We cannot remove or recycle these.
Your tree must be ready to collect by 8am, please note we cannot guarantee what time your tree will be collected.
Your tree must be left in a clear, unobstructed, and visible location. If possible, without causing obstruction - on the path in front of your property.
Due to Health and Safety policy our lovely volunteers are unable to, under any circumstances, enter your property (e.g. house, garden, gated driveway) or any confined or restricted space to access your tree.

Please note, we will only be collecting trees on that date. If you have not presented your tree outside the property by 8am, it will not be collected.
Every penny you provide will go towards making each day count for our patients and their loved ones.
