Find out more about this international day of giving and what it's achieved since it launched in 2014.

This #GivingTuesday we're inviting you to Do Good Stuff for your local hospice.

It's a day to do good stuff for charity, straight after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when people around the world come together to give back.

The movement originated in the US and came to the UK two years ago – and St Andrew’s is proud to have been signed up from the start.

So this year we’re asking you to do good stuff for St Andrew’s this #GivingTuesday, November 29, 2016. Scroll down to find out how, and in the meantime, here are some facts about what the #JustGiving campaign has achieved so far:

  • It broke a world record for the most money donated online in 24 hours - a whopping $48-million globally.
  • More than £6,000 was donated to charity every minute in 2015.
  • It's become the UK's top trending hashtag on Twitter for two years running.
  • It's received political support from both the UK and Scottish governments.
  • More than 1,400 partners - including St Andrew's - have signed up to the movement.
  • There have been more than 100,000 posts on social media about it.
  • It's achieved celebrity support from people including Emma Watson, Stephen Fry and Gary Lineker.
