Calling all staff who worked at Grimsby's four hospitals from the 1950s...

A reunion of past employees of the old Grimsby hospitals is taking place on Thursday, July 6.

It's being held at The Beachcomber, Cleethorpes, from 1pm to 5pm, and is raising money for St Andrew's Hospice.

Everyone who has previously worked in any capacity at the town's old hospitals - Grimsby General, Scartho Hospital, Grimsby Maternity and Springfield, and staff from the early days up to the present day at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital - are welcome.

Join in an afternoon of meeting old friends, sharing memories and talking over the good, and sometimes the challenging, times

Talks will be given by Tara Philby, chief nurse for North Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Trust, and St Andrew's Hospice representative Theresa Crowe.

The proceeds of raffles and namecards will donated to the hospice. Refreshments and afternoon teas will be available to purchase.
