Have you seen what’s in store at our shop in Immingham?

In March, we relocated to bigger premises further along Pelham Road to offer a wider range of goods to shoppers.

We have transformed a former beauty salon and car showroom into a large store for pre-loved furniture, electrical items, homeware, clothing, a children’s range and more. Opening times have been extended.

Manager Shane Briggs is welcoming customers, loyal and new, to visit and has asked supporters to please drop off any donations to the new premises.

It’s the second building we have leased in the town, but we have now moved out of the smaller outlet.

Shane said: “Immingham is a great place, and very important to St Andrew’s. We are very well supported by residents and it’s the generosity of the public that has helped us make an even bigger investment in the town.

“The store is large, with dedicated sections for different ranges, and we’re delighted to be able to hold much more stock for shoppers.”

As well as donations, we are currently very short of carrier bags. We do not agree with using vital donations to pay for carrier bags in our shops, so rely on donations or people bringing in their own.

If you have carrier bags to spare or donations, please drop them into the store, at Unit 1, 352 Pelham Road, Immingham. Its new opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. And don’t forget – if you’re a UK taxpayer, you can help us make even more money by claiming Gift Aid. When you donate your unwanted items to the hospice, we will take your name and address; that way, for every £1 your items make, we can claim 25p extra from the Government. It costs you absolutely nothing: all we need is your name and address.

We are always looking for volunteers to join our happy team. If you think you can help, please call 01469 571115.

St Andrew’s currently operates 14 shops throughout Lincolnshire and the East Riding, including a gift and book store at the hospice in Peaks Lane, Grimsby, and online stores. For details, click here
