Lincoln's famous festive fundraiser was officially launched today.
The Lincoln Santa Fun Run and Walk 2016 was officially launched in the city today - and we were there to join in the fun.
The famous festive fundraiser, now in its 11th year and supported by the University of Lincoln, saw the charities benefiting from the event gather in Castle Square below a giant inflatable Santa.
It's organised by The Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, who even drafted in Father Christmas (aka Clive Rodgers) to bring a touch of Christmas to mid-September.
Andy's, the children's hospice here at St Andrew's, is one of the ten organisations being supported by this year's event.
It costs just £10 to participate in a two-lap course of the historic Bailgate area of the city... perfect for runners, walkers, dogs and more!
It's open to all ages and everyone gets a free Santa Suit and finishing medal to keep.
Please join up for this wonderful event and raise at least £10 sponsorship (the minimum sponsorship amount required) for Andy's. Choosing us means we can continue making each day count for children and young people with life-limiting illnesses throughout Lincolnshire.
