The latest information regarding our charity shops in the light of Coronavirus (COVID19).

St Andrew’s Hospice are devoted to the health and wellbeing of our community, especially now more than ever.

As a charity, we rely heavily on the support of dedicated volunteers throughout all of our services. We fully support any volunteer or member of staff who is following the sensible guidelines to self-isolate, and in an effort to re-deploy our resources we have made the decision to temporarily close a number of our charity shops until further notice.

The affected shops are:

  • Barton
  • Cromwell Road, Children’s shop
  • Grimsby Road
  • Peaks Lane
  • Scartho
  • Freshney Place

We will continue to monitor our combined workforce over the coming weeks and will update you about any further closures if and when the situation changes. As always, we fully support all of our volunteers and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back when the situation permits.

As you can no doubt imagine, the closure of six of our shops will have a sizeable impact on our income this year. If you would like to help us at this difficult time, we are still accepting donations at our Wilton Road Donation Centre (Unit 2A Humberston Business Park, Humberston, Grimsby, DN36 4BJ) or if you would like to arrange a collection, please email

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
