Big Fish Lottery player wins big by supporting local

Big Fish Lottery supporter Krystyna felt “shocked” when she won the top prize of £1,000 in the weekly draw.

Krystyna, who has been playing the Big Fish Lottery for nearly 10 years, said she decided to join “because it was local”.

When asked why she chose St Andrew’s Hospice over other local charities, she said: “It’s the one that comes to mind.”

The win came at just the right time, as she was on a “very tight budget” for an upcoming holiday. Her big win allowed her to “splash out on a nice meal in Morocco” and treat herself to a beautiful new pair of earrings.

Krystyna is now encouraging local people to support St Andrew’s Hospice by playing the weekly Big Fish Lottery. She said: “It’s £5 towards a good cause, so it just feels like the right thing to do. And the fact that you can win at the end of the day – which is quite a shock – is a bonus.”

By playing the Big Fish Lottery, you help us plan for the future. If you’d like to support us today, please sign up at https://support.standrewshospice.com/register
